Don't Do This

Twenty-five minutes after the presentation was supposed to be over, as we finally arrived at the last chart, the briefer said "I don't know how I'm doing on time - over, under...?"

Rule #1 of giving briefings: Know how much time you're supposed to spend.
Rule #2: Know what time it is.

Don't be the only one in the room who doesn't know when you're supposed to be finished. I promise you everyone else is very much aware.

(Hint: all those people who got up and left 15 minutes ago should have been an indication...)
